What is Babysitter Certification?

Babysitting certification is a convenient, 100% online course designed to help older children and teenagers prepare to care for other children safely and responsibly.

Do I receive a certification card if I pass the test?

Absolutely! When you pass the final test with a score of 80% or higher, you immediately receive via email a printable PDF certification card that you can show prospective babysitting clients. Your card will have your name, certification date, and expiration date of your certification (two years after passing the test).

Can I use Babysitting Certification Institute for my first time getting certified as a babysitter?

Yes, our course is perfect for a first-time babysitter who wants to learn to be a skilled caregiver and to show parents that he or she is ready to care for their children safely and be responsible. You don’t need any babysitting experience to become certified with Babysitter Basics.

Do you require CPR Certification?

Yes, it is important to also get cpr certified. You can get your cpr certification online or attend a local training center.

Is there an option for rush delivery of my certification?

You will receive a printable Babysitter Basics certification card via email as soon as you pass the exam. This card is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How long does my certification card last?

Your certification covers a 12 month period from the day you pass the exam.

Can I get a refund if I’m unhappy?

How quickly will I get my test score?

Your exam is scored immediately, and you will be able to see which questions were answered incorrectly. You will also get your full results via email when you pass the exam.

Is there a time limit on the test?

The final test does not have a time limit, allowing you to take as much time as you need. You can also print the exam, fill in the answers on paper, and then enter the answers online at your convenience.

Can I take the exam again if I don’t get a passing score?

Yes, you can retake the exam as many times as you need to get a score of 80% or higher. Because you will see the questions you missed, you will be able to go back and study the sections that need review before you take the test again.

Are all of the training materials online?

Our course is 100% online. Both the training materials and exam are available online 24/7, and we do not require any other study materials to be purchased in order to be certified.

Is your program compatible with my Mac/PC/Tablet/Smartphone?

Yes, our course is fully compatible with PC and Mac computers, every major smartphone, and tablets.

What if I lose my certification card?
